The term “mosh” came into use in the early eighties American hardcore scene in Washington, D.C. Vocalist H.R. (Paul Hudson) of the band Bad Brains, regarded as a band that “put moshing on the map,”[7] used the term “mash” in lyrics and show stage banter to both incite and describe the aggressive and often violent dancing of the scene. To “mash it up” was to go wild with the frenzy of the music. Due to his affected Jamaican-accented pronunciation of the word, fans heard this as mosh instead.

Here’s a fun new update to CollegeHumor.com. We have redesigned our original series tag pages to allow more branding with its own page and header.
I designed all of them but this one (Prank Wars)is my favorite. I created silhouettes of Amir and Streeter in the header to create more visual interest with the existing logo.
This one is pretty fun too - I made an old school boom box from scrath in Illustrator.
Enjoy!
This was designed by Anna but developed by me!
Sunday was one of the coldest days I’ve surfed. Dawn patrol was 16 degrees with 20 MPH winds out of the NW making for some real brisk conditions. I was surprised how many people made it out in New York to get some fun waves this little East swell provided. Full gallery up at www.northeastsessions.com
Lucky for me I guess, I woke up a little to late and the tide was already starting to go out. Looks like I missed some fun ones though.

Wow, me encanta. snOMG. From NASA, this is the latest satellite image of the Nor’easter that will slam DC to NJ tonight and tomorrow. A Blizzard Warning is up for the Jersey Shore, with the potential for nearly 2 feet of blowing snow.
I really suggest everyone check out this feature. I have to say that it is one of the best photo galleries out there. I’m not 100% sure but I believe all of the photography is from New Hampshire Local Photographer Brian Nevins. Every picture is just classic and makes me miss the vibes of surfing in New Hampshire. Surfing there for 4 years throughout college wasn’t always the best, but when things came together, the surfing and scenery and people can be hard to beat. Def check this out at http://www.getinthevan.com/ilovenh.html. Be sure to check out the other galleries Get In the Van has too. Great site, big props!
I really need to go scuba diving next time I’m in PR.
Make sure you make your way past the 3:10 in this video.
…..the guy in the thirty six hundred dollar suit. COME ON!
Damn, last week was good in Jersey. Above is another shot from last Tuesday in Northern Jersey. Rights just honkin down the beach. Might be some fun waves this weekend with this little snow storm coming through. Keep an eye on it.
