sarahschneider: This is my new favorite Hardly Working.  Pile and Zanoose are both breakout stars. Yeahh!!! I was lucky enough to be chosen by editorial to be in this video. Even though it was a lot of fun making this I was extremely nervous the entire time. I give a lot of respect to everyone who are usually in these videos because they make it look way easy and have a lot of fun at the same...

jakehurwitz: Amir took some footage as we shot our latest Hardly Woring, which should debut today or tomorrow. I’ve always been really terrible at keeping a straight face while we shoot anything. And considering how long it usually takes, this wasn’t too bad. I like posting Hardly Working behind the scenes stuff because it shows how much fun they are to make. And I think that’s part of the...

streeter: Hey!  I wrote this video based on an article from a while back. Mike Parker did the animation and voices and, in my opinion, did a fantastic job. Digg it if you dig it.

NYC Subway cars used for Artificial Reef →
“Barge workers unload one of 44 cleaned-up New York City subway cars Saturday into the ocean at the Bill Perry Jr. Artificial Reef located 25 nautical miles offshore east of Murrells Inlet. The cars, donated by the New York City Transit’s subway department, are dropped into the ocean to help give fish a place to seek shelter. So far, the partnership between the transit authority and...

Dentist
After not being to a dentist in a couple years, it took me about a month to get the appointment I had today. Previous to this, I never thought the dentist was all that bad and never fully understood why people have so much hatred for going to the dentist. I am proud to say, that today, I am one of those people that truly hate that place. It only took forty minutes of the dentist digging into my...

Highlights from the final day of the Billabong Pro at J-Bay, South Africa last week. Kelly Slater took this one down for his 4th win of the year, keep in mind there have only been 5 contests so far and Kelly had planned on not even competing this year.

Surf is fun.
This summer has really been different from other summers for surfable waves here in New York. Usually the summertime is the flattest time of the year and we go through days, usually weeks without surf. But over the past month there has been consistent string of good waves. It’s so great, I love being out in the water, catching waves, talking to people and just having fun. Whenever I can, I...

Thank you iPhone
I had bought tickets online to a 9:50 showing of The Dark Knight tonight. We got to the theater about 10 minutes before the show was to start and one of my friends hadn’t bought his ticket before hand. Of course the 9:50 was now sold out. So we figured we would just go get tickets for the next show, which was at 10:50. As we are walking into the theater to buy the tickets, we see people...

There will be 13 episodes in the coming-soon fourth season, and then 39 past that. (source) Hells yes.  If you’re not watching this show yet, I beg you to please tune in every week.  Please? YES! I am so excited for the new season to start and even more...

NY Islanders let go head coach Ted Nolan →
I understand that Garth Snow and Ted Nolan had their share of differences over the past season but with one year left on his contract, I do not think it was a good move for him to be let go from the team. He was a good coach and both the players and the fans liked him. We’ll see what Snow does here in the upcoming weeks, it will be interesting to see who he chooses to replace Nolan.
