May 2009
After driving for a couple hours and walking through the rain forest for almost an hour we finally made our way to the waterfall we were looking for. This here is myself jumping off the highest spot we could find. It was real nice to escape from the Costa Rican heat in fresh water today while the waves were flat.
I made a channel on vimeo where you can find videos from my trip. Check it out here:...
Finally got to test out the GoPro camera in the small surf yesterday down here in Costa Rica. Hopefully more video to come when the waves get bigger/better.
I catch a wave right around 3:10.

Dear Tumblr
For the next ten days I will be in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. The majority of my time will be spent surfing but I will most likely find the time to explore the rain forest, dive off some waterfalls, drive through rivers, and definitely drink a lot of the local beer. Forgive me for my lack of posting but I promise to have an enormous amount of pictures and video of my trip when I return....

Wolfram|Alpha is a computational knowledge engine
“What computing power have we gathered in these facilities for launch day? Two supercomputers, just about 10,000 processor cores, hundreds of terabytes of disks, a heck of a lot of bandwidth, and what seems like enough air conditioning for the Sahara to host a ski resort.”
This thing is going to take over the world.
