Puerto Rico gets big. VERY big. Wilderness, NW PR — 12/29/09
This is absolutely ridiculous! I’ve never seen Wildo break this big. The paddle out must have been insane!

The iPad is a Comedy Gold Mine, written by me and featuring the CH staff. A hot slice of meta, for comedy writers and Apple haters the world over. Help make our non-angle iPad angle take the Internet by storm by lending us a digg.

Even if you’re not a surfer or into environmental issues, I recommend watching this video to see how a...

There’s a HUGE difference between saying you’re going to do something some day, and actually doing it. Ideas are easy, they come and go; but to sit down and get to work, that’s the hard part.
That’s not the hardest part though…
The hardest part is continuing to move forward and work when you don’t feel like it, when you’re mad, when you’re sad, when you’re tired,...

A video of the rotation of the Earth from 31 million miles away (roughly halfway to Mars) as seen by the EPOXI/Deep Impact orbiter (I also highly encourage you to read about Deep Impact/EPOXI, one of my favorite NASA missions).

Swimming with a sea turtle from John Zanussi on Vimeo.
I see these dudes all the time when surfing in PR but this time I was lucky enough to be swimming around and had my camera on me.

When it comes to surfing, Kelly Slater is a freak of nature. The same can be said about Shaun White and snowboarding. This dude is a freak and doesn’t stop pushing the limits. Both the X Games and the Winter Olympics are coming up and hes been practicing a Double McTwist 1260. I can’t wait to see him stick this thing in competition.
