When I looked at the forecast late last week, it looked pretty perfect. Offshore, big swell, and beautiful weather.  I recently made the move down to Florida for work, but booked a last minute trip to get back for the swell over the weekend. From the forecast I was expecting some epic conditions, turned out, as usual, when Saturday/Sunday rolled around, not much swell had showed up, and it turned out to be a lackluster weekend. A few hundred bucks went down the drain.  Still got some fun waves and enjoyed one of the last weekends of the summer.  I hope everyone had some fun on the leftovers (which turned out to be much better than the weekend, from what I heard) and is ready for the some more swell from Earl expected to arrive later this week.  Good luck!

Montreal was tons of fun! Thanks for the tips and recommendations!! We stayed in an apartment right off of St. Laurent and went out to a bunch of bars/clubs there and down on St. Catherine. We walked through Chinatown and went over to Notre Dame. We also went over to Casino de Montreal and checked that out. The casino was pretty lame but they had a NASCAR race going on so that was cool. I’m going to put some photos up from the trip in a few. I’ll post them up here.
