In Sagres, Portugal I tried my hand at cliff-fishing. The extra-long poles dangle line 300-feet to the ocean below. I didn’t catch anything for I didn’t last long at helm; I was scared and gave up soon after my first cast.
Pre-New World, Europeans thought that Sagres, the southern most point in Europe, was the end of the world, literally the crust of earth breaking off abruptly into the ocean.
This looks amazingly awesome and insanely scary at the same time!
