SURFBANG.com is something I’ve been working on in my free time for almost six months and today I am officially launching it to the world. It is mainly targeted to the surf community but there is some cool content on the site along with a lot of surf videos. For todays launch, we have an interview with pro surfer CJ Hobgood and a contest to win 2 new Freestyle watches.
Check out the site and let me know what you think. Pass it along to your friends!
Also, if you like the logo, it was designed by Kevin Crowe.

Excellent video of what it is like to go surfing in the Northeast in the middle of winter. The coldest part about surfing in the winter is getting changed in the parking lot after getting out of the water. I wish I had friends that would stand in the freezing cold and snow and film us surf.
Got dirty in Jersey this Sunday. Wasn’t easy to get in position for a good one, but if you did it was worth the work. Full gallery should be up midweek. Thanks for checking in and have a Happy New Years!
This is how I like to spend most of my time when surfing.

starting to miss the summertime.
The colors are spellbinding. I have no idea where this photo was taken, but on the East Coast (where the sun rises over the ocean), nothing can match a sunrise barrel. There’s something ethereal with the coloring, empty beach, and quiet surroundings, with the restless ocean and cranky birds providing the only sounds. Peaceful.

I couldn’t agree with you more.
Heather Brown / Love and Happiness (from Liquid Salt Interview) one of my all time favorite surf artists is featured on Liquid Salt Magazine. Her colors are just incredible. I am envying her life right now but am at the same time very inspired. I want to move to Hawaii, make cool art and surf Waikiki!
