Live and Direct

I’ve seen Jack White perform live with The Dead Weather and more recently with Wanda Jackson, but I’m very upset that I’ll never be able to see The White Stripes live, especially since I had more then a few chances to do so.

This version of this song is so amazing. The sound of the guitar is like a chainsaw cutting through a tree made of gasoline… and the solo… so great. They have this on their Under the Great Northern Lights DVD and he just struts around the whole time like he’s the Fonze of rock…. which he is.
